Just a point of what annoys me with the wording of politicians too is things like
"Raise the Minimum Wage: Barack Obama will raise the minimum wage, index it to inflation and increase the Earned Income Tax Credit" Umm the president can't make bill's so the best he can do is get someone in congress to put forward the legislation and then try to influence congress enough to pass that bill. I am sure though there are people who really believe that the president can do all this stuff which makes me sad. And it annoys me when all politicians do it. It just makes me think they are intentionally trying to be deceptive. Raise the Minimum Wage: Barack Obama will try to get congress to raise the minimum wage, index it to inflation and increase the Earned Income Tax Credit is what it should say. :) On 7/23/08, Loathe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/ > > "Establish a $10 billion Foreclosure Prevention Fund: Given the downturn > in the economy, Obama is calling for immediate creation of his > Foreclosure Prevention Fund that will dramatically increase emergency > pre-foreclosure counseling, and will help families facing foreclosure to > responsibly refinance their mortgages or sell their homes.
