As a kid I loved "The Neverending Story". The racing snail. The giant turtle.
I just loved it. But the end of the movie always confused me. The real hero, Bastion, must give the child empress a new name to save the world. For some reason he doesn't want to. Then he's convinced! He leaps up to the window and screams his choice into the wind and rain! .... What the fuck did he say? Was that "Moose high bow"? "Mooch My Flow"? In any case my brother and I rewound the tape over and over and over trying to figure out what that little bastard said. Now over 20 years later I've finally gotten to that item on my "to-do" list. I looked it up on this Innerwebnet thing. Apparently he said "Moonchild". And he used at least four syllables to say it. "Moonchild"? I was happier not knowing.
