Workplace safety? At Walmart? Really? From what? A paper cut? An out of control cash drawer? Maybe I don't have a complete picture of what dangers await the daily lives of a Walmart worker. During my lifetime, I have watched an extended union strike put Eastern Airlines completely out of business in Atlanta, which put alot of my childhood friend's parents out of work. That was about money, not workplace safety. The only thing I've seen unions do is ask for more money. I've never seen any improvements other than negotiations for a raise, something I think most people should know how to do themselves. Coal mines have collapsed in the US lately - have they gone on strike over it yet? Are they Unionized? I'm actually asking, I don't know the answer. It would be interesting to see if Unions are making a difference even where safety is a big issue. -Cameron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:265100 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
