I agree with G... in order for there to be a proper and fair game of supply and 
demand. The oil companies have been found guilty of price fixing before, 
they're doing it again espeically with an administration willing to look the 
other way.

I wish the scooter option was viable, 35 miles one way on a scooter on the 
highway isn't my idea of safe I'm driving my Corolla again so I'm about as gas 
friendly and green as I can get,. If electric cars would become prevalent, I'd 
go with that option. Mad props to T-Bone for being able to pull off the scooter 
deal.

I truly, truly hope you're right, and it's backed up by a government that will 
make big oil play by the same rules as everyone else.

I doubt it, not until their reserves start to really run out. Then it'll be up 
to the Exxon/Mobil (or will it be Exxon/Mobil/Shell/BP/Marathon by then?) to 
pay the piper and prop up those govenments that  they convinced to build their 
entire economies on oil profits.

We'll go into alternative energy kicking and screaming, with the oil companies 
blocking it every way that they can.
