I'm the same way, I've been several places in the Carribean, and Canada. My
laptop goes everywhere with me. I have to un-bag it for carry on X-Ray but
that's it.

I've only been stopped once, by Bermuda customs, my bag went through the xray
and I had an mp3 player laying across a snorkel, kinda looked like a gun, they
inspected my bag, told me what happened, handed me my bag back, with everything
in it. The inspector and I laughed about it for a second, and then I was on my
way.
