I took a Philosophy of God elective my senior year in college, and this book was a central text. We read it, then dissected it from cover to cover....so yeah, I know all about what you are talking about. And you are right, the book is titled "WHEN bad things happen...", not "Why..." (though that question is pondered as well), and it's mostly about dealing with it. Our class focused on reconciling this question with the concept of a "God" as well...which made for an interesting study. I've made no bones about my disdain for religious zealots...but I have a lot of respect for the Jesuits (this class was taught by a Jesuit priest). They really value the educational aspect of everything, including their faith, even valuing education that would seem to contradict that faith. -- I'm happy just to sit here with old friends And see which one of us can tell the biggest lies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:266079 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
