Sounds like we are getting one or the other this time around....guaranteeing
that this will be an historic election no matter who wins.

How cool is that? Sometimes you have to go through hell (George W. Bush)
before you can start to grow again as a nation.

I've already stated that Barack Obama would never have had a chance, if not
for George W. Bush, and I also believe that the republican party would NEVER
nominate John McCain without the disaster that was George Bush's presidency.
Picking a woman as his running mate is even better....another attempt to
distance this ticket, and this party, from Bush.

In one the strangest ironies in history, arguably the worst president in US
history may inadvertently be responsible for some of this country's greatest
leaps forward.
