perhaps in time. The issues are still there and still manifest with fairly young people; only way to overcome them is to keep on keeping on :) I was stuck by something John Lewis said in an interview the other day. (He is a civil rights activist who was present for the I have a dream speech.) Someone asked if he had thought at the time that a black man could be nominated for president and he said no. They just wanted to get a hamburger, he said, and a seat on the bus. Maybe elect a black mayor or two.
Me, I just want to feed the dog and pay the rent. Maybe see about helping somebody else get day care; I am out of all that now thank god.
