That's a convenient line to take when your candidate has no experience, but it just isn't the case. Big consulting firms and law firms hire junior talent because they can bill them out at 4x their salaries, work them to death because they don't have kids or other commitments and are hungry for success, and grind them up and spit them out in three years.
