Bain & Company, for example, is so confident of their advice that
they'll take stock in lieu of fees and their clients out-perform the
market 4-to-1.  That's a pretty good case for non-experience
talent-based hiring.

Thus, if you haven't already thought of it, your argument makes no
sense.  The fact that consulting firms can bill big money is because
of big talent.
