Yeah, only he's not really working for what he wants.

Course, the Republicans don't really seem to give two bits about
community type stuff. Look down on it, even. Worthless, in their
eyes. Unless there is a direct gain, they don't see the point.

Don't even bother with the "long tail" and whatnot. "Give me a tax
break, please-- I know we're heavy in debt, but I don't care. No new
taxes, read our lips"

It's all about the *I*, not the *we*.

Sorta. If they were really selfish, they'd do more for others,
realizing that it actually did more for themselves, too. And they'd
be more pissed than I am, if they stood for individuals rights.

Personally, I think it's just that one percent or whatever-- you know,
the really rich and powerful, trying to stay there. And a bunch of
little people propping them up, I know not why. They'll use whatever
tools are handy, which ever party... but it's /so/ ironic to see this
stuff with this one, based on what it stood for.

Props Gruss, for working for what you want. I'm not that cool. I just talk.

I'm basing my statements about the Republican party by the speeches
and news conferences I've seen in the last few days. Many republicans
I know do care about community service, and value sacrifice for the
greater good, but don't want to get forced to do anything, which I'm
down with. They'd never talk shit about serving the community.

Heh. Maybe I'm trying to get Rob to get out on the street, working
for his dude. Part of me must want to see this old train break down.
*sigh*

Self-distruction, it's what's for dinner!

-PS leave the bully dogs out of it, you evil republicans. (Lipstick?)
