Other life-- see, it's a grand question. And a really crazy one, if you look at it scientifically. Well, or not, exactly. I can look up, and see these stars, right? And I know (heh) that they're billions and billions or, well, old, right? And I can see how fast we're going, too, neh? Science-wize? Amazing accomplishments, faster and faster. I guess it's sort of related to randomness. Like, when the numbers don't seem to be distributed the way they "should". Flipping a coin and getting heads 100% of the time. I don't know how to explain it, but something about perception itself, shapes reality. In a "real" way. But what is "real"? How far do you think those scientists in The Matrix would get? Would they eventually science their way out of the computer generated world? Yeah, I guess it's about life, the universe, and everything. The odds seem to say, there should be "something else", but maybe it's just missing bits of data-- well, of course, but you know what I mean. Science sorta tells you where to look, but it's tied to our perception, which we don't understand, yet constantly build on. Even for the simple stuff, like gravity. Which is pretty wonder full. If thought is tied to perception, and "reality", and thus, science... well, I think we should start with thought. And thought ain't about Evolution-- or maybe it is. But not the random, loosing of something important, because it didn't have the right niche, kind. Bah. If I can't explain it, I don't really know it... there's something there tho, I feel it. There is a whole chunk of reality that we're missing. Eh. Maybe it's just me. :-) Even standing still, I'm moving at a *tremendous* pace, ya know? It's mind-blowing. -- where's all the extra-terrestrial life? Where's God at?
