What I said to Sam applies: it's shamelessly irresponsible for a party that was in control of government for 6 of the last 8 years to skirt accountability and ownership. It's downright cowardly. McCain's choice of Palin (over, say, Ridge or Lieberman) shows that he has enslaved himself to the masters that created Bush and is perfectly willing to continue his same policies to attain and hold power. It's an absolute corruption in front of our eyes. With this behavior, not to mention the lies, it's beyond conceivable for me that anyone would pull the lever for him.
