And what is it, exactly that McCain plans to do, by focusing on this one issue?

It does not bode well for looking presidential. Perhaps he thinks that
after he gets elected he can simply ask the American people and indeed
the people of the world to only present him with one problem at a
time? And hold on while he comes up with a solution.

Additionally, will he be making a statement after he *personally*
manages to fix things? Surely the American people deserve to know the
solution he came up with. Since it will save the economy. It will,
won't it? I mean, his efforts won't be for naught?

With Republicans polling at 56% in favor of continuing with the debate
and 96% of Americans against a bailout, what plan does McCain have to
both instantly salvage the economy AND have the debate?

Surely the Republican mouthpieces on the list can lay it out for us?
So how about it Sam, how is McCain going to make a difference?
