Exactly.

Extended, neither McCain or Obama seemed interested in financial issues when
they were voting on them in the Senate... so an explanation of how they
could possibly help now seems a reasonable request.

What good does closed-door meetings in Washington with these men accomplish
that would outweigh the good done by having them address the people on the
issue?  At this point I'm much more concerned with their ability to
communicate a plan to me for recovering from this issue rather than
impotently stand around while another administration attempts a solution. 

Unless of course anybody can offer any legitimate reason how either one of
them could actually help.  So far I haven't heard any.
