Uggh, that sounds like it would turn off a buyer even more! I was trying to find a way to make it less of an issue, not more of one. I'm not sure I see what escrow buys you really in this case. The bank isn't going to release the title until the payment clears anyway, so maybe I am missing something?? As stated elsewhere, the buyer can still get a temporary tag without the title, most states allow something like 21-30 days for transfer of title.
