Not really sure any amount of parental involvement could help this
one. The Clayton County schools lost accreditation because of the
incompetent and corruption of the school board.   It was so bad that
the Governor removed most of the board members for violation of the
Georgia Code of Ethics.  Admittedly, the parents could have voted in
different board members, but sometimes in an election, both choices
are questionable. ;-)
