The question is, during an economic crisis is McCain going to talk
about the economy and put country first or is he going to go negative?

If it comes down to association smears, and Obama plays it right, it
could go VERY negative for McCain.

(1.) There's the biggie, McCain was one of the Keating 5. Is that who
we want for this economic crisis? The guy investigated for corruption
and officially sanctioned with using "poor judgment" during the last
one?

(2.) McCain campaign manager, Rick Davis, has gotten $15,000/month
from Freddie Mac since 2006. Uh oh.

(3.) And then there's Phil Gramm. The guy who thinks this is a crisis
in your mind and that you're a whiner for complaining about it.

And that doesn't touch Palin who has a decades long relationship with
a secessionist group.

I guess she doesn't think about America like the rest of us: she
thinks of America as a foreign country.
