Welp! Got Direct PC here in Trinidad at the office. It is rather fast runnning on the server, but none of the three client PCs can seem to get anywhere near DPC speeds. They are all operating at regular 56K modem speeds.
I have WinRoute running on the server, and set NAT on for the DPC USB Satellite Adapter, and set it to go through the modem for outgoing stuff. And still, the clients are all at modem speed. It is like everything that is not coming from the local machine, is being shunted through the modem. I don't understand what's wrong. And DPC doesn't operate where there is some specific Proxy to use. If that were the case I could just enter the proxy into Winroute and turn on Winroute's proxy and surf that way from the client machines. Anyone have any ideas? :-\ I've not found any help on the web so far. -Gel ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
