I'm really curious to see how things go down in Europe. I'm reading
bits about people realizing that there is no finance minister for the
EU. No one to take coordinated action. Yet they so many countries
share the same currency. When the EU is moving in one direction it is
a formidable entity indeed. When it is flailing in multiple
directions, it is a confusing beast.

There is a lot I don't understand about EU politics/economics. The
intricacies of when the EU works as an entity and when it works as
individual countries is fascinating and seemingly arcane. This time
period will be an amazing field of study for future dissertations in
economics, political science and foreign affairs.
