Fact.  For me at least.  I said this in 2004 about Bush and everyone
thought I was full of shit.

Except for the people that helped me understand why.  And they're ALL
voting Obama this time.  Last time there was a debate.  This time
they're 100% unanimous and they all have cash positions.  If McCain is
elected this market won't see their cash.  Or mine.

There's 3 outcomes here:

(1.) Election turns on the liquidity, banks get confidence, lending
restarts.  Recession pulls out in Q3 - Q4 of next year and off we go.
(with my money I'm holding in cash as liquidity).

(2.) No change. (I don't buy in, everyone else hoards cash too)

(3.) Crisis deepens.  (flight to safety.  I take my business elsewhere)

If you think I'm alone in keeping my cash out of this market you're
not watching data.

I'm telling you, if McCain is elected it will be at your economic peril.
