So the guys on the ground are lying too?

There are obviously still some problems on the ground, and likely will 
be some level of violence for years to come.  Thing is we are quickly 
reaching the level where the violence is controllable, and where the 
Iraqis are going to be the ones out in the streets.  Troop draw downs 
have already begun and been announced.

We'll be able to plus up Afghanistan and hopefully start towards making 
headway there again.
