he said said he wasn't going to bring trumped up charges on the alleged voting fraud sheriff White was yelling about in the media. I went into all of this several days ago. It was supposedly fraudulent that a couple of hundred people were registered at certain addresses, which all turned out to be agencies that provide services to the homeless. The law is that if you get your mail at an address that is where you register. The other alleged proof was multiple instances of the same name, but as previously noted, the state of new mexico was founded by maybe thirty families total and there really are that many people named Michael Martinez or Mary Chavez or Sam Gonzales or whatever.
The other, unrelated charge was legit (apparently -- the case is going to jury selection) but the investigation was still in process and might not have netted the big fish it did if he had bowed to pressure to bring charges prematurely just so Heather Wilson and Pete Domenici could say look at the pretty corruption. That case involved kickbacks though and had nothing to do with voting. The other states, you tell me ::shrug:: I don't have any interest in researching this further. If you find something that's been substantiated, let me know.
