That is silly. They are pissed off because they are grumpy old fogeys
and closet Inquisitors.

I guess I don't get where everyone says Obama has gotten a "pass". If
so, how come these issues, which his campaign is asked about every
single day, are on the front page every day?

What _has_ gotten a pass, and this goes back 10 years, is the press
DEMANDING campaigns actually answer questions. Both campaigns are
perfectly willing to stare blankly at the camera, and mouth "no
comment", and they all get away with it.

And if they don't answer the questions asked of them, that is where
the press is supposed to get involved, and find the answers the hard
way. There is SOME of this going on, but not enough.

The same abdication of their jobs that they failed so badly at in the
run up to the Iraq war. Nothing new here, and nothing (from my seat)
partisan about it. Incompetence and cost-cutting greed know no partys.
