I was kind of enjoying the dialog back when I thought everyone knew it
was political gamesmanship.

Then I realized there are true believers.

If you convince someone that the Earth is flat, they'll be outraged
that the press isn't covering this important controversy.

WFB was fond of saying that he'd spent his entire career trying to
keep the crazies out, but he'd failed.

Nobody has proved that more than the neo-cons.

I fondly look forward to the day when we worry about how things good
but not perfect. For example:

"Sure there are no wars and the economy is great, but what about those
oval office BJs? That's gotta go!"

If Oval Office BJs become top priority and are something the kooks
want - and can afford! - to spend $400 million investigating, well
I'll be happy.
