I used to believe this, but I don't anymore.

The reason is because we've move from an industrial revolution to an
information revolution.

Thus cutting my taxes doesn't encourage me to buy another factory and
fill it with workers, it encourages me to build a new IT business and
staff it with offshore developers.

In that scenario, you don't get the "critical mass" of employing more
people and having them all pay taxes.

Worked in the industrial revolution because if I expanded, I hired Americans.

Put another way, in a global economy that doesn't work any longer.

You and Robert have to evolve your thinking.  You're 20 years behind.
