You don't get it. Republicans wouldn't associate with Ayers, regardless of
anything he has done since his days as a terrorist. It is a matter of
principle, and Obama's association with him is seen as either unprincipled
or enormously stupid- not traits we want in a President.

I guess I just don't think the Democrat's tactics are as ugly as the
