I worked a few years for an electrician, eventually getting my 3rd year
apprenticeship papers, but that did not qualify me to be a master electrician
or to call myself an electrican.

Similarly I completed my internship in psych, and worked underneath the
supervisions of a PhD psychologist, and later walked out of my dissertation
defense. But that year did not qualify me to call myself a psychologist.

Similarly he did not finish his apprenticeship, therefore he cannot legally
have a plumbers license, nor can he call himself one. He can work for a
licensed plumber, but he is not a plumber.

There is no character assassination here, just the reiteration of the truth.

Its relevant since he was complaining about taxation. Frankly he hasn't been
all that truthful. He claimed 15 years experience, but had only 5. he claimed
to be a licensed plumber, but wasn't.

I don't have to imply that he's been untruthful, its plainly obvious.

He claimed he was an independent voter. Again he misrepresented himself. Gee
he's almost as honest as the rest of the neo-conss and the right wing of the
Republicans.

The point being you claimed character assassination, I'm simply asking when
does the truth become character assassination. From what you've been saying it
would seem that the answer is yes, if you look at the truth behind a republican
setup then it is now character assassination.

Damned pity we couldn't have the level of discourse as exhibited in the
Lincoln-Douglas debases of 150 years ago. A series of 3 hour debates between
the two candidates on their positions.
