I have not seen any news articles about McCain's plans for his part on election day, but I imagine when I do I will be just as disgusted.
And, as has been pointed out numerous times, the $2,000,000 party was brought up as a counter point to everyone who was appalled that the RNC spent $150,000 on clothes for their Vice Presidential candidate. Are both a tremendous waste of money? Yes. However, a lot of Obama supporters in this thread seem to think the 'well, everyone does it' excuse is a good one for pissing away $2,000,000 for a party, while at the same time crying bloody murder over expensive clothes. I am not saying we should over look the wardrobe expenses, rather we should ALL be outraged about ALL of it, not just that which deals with the 'other guy'. If you are going to ignore your guy's frivolous spending, don't get all righteous about the other guy's spending.
