So we know 3 facts about Palin and her anti-American associations: (1.) Her husband Todd was a member of a secessionist party for 15 years. Ms. Palin attended multiple meetings of that party, publicly praised their "great work" and has been mentioned prominently by the Alaskan Independence Party as an avid supporter.
(2.) Palin's pastor, Rev. Thomas Muthee, performed a "laying on of hands" ritual on Gov. Palin in 2005 to protect her from witches. Seriously. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwkb9_zB2Pg Watch it. It's like the evil baptism scene from a 007 movie. Or for you geeks, like Obi Wan Kenobi when he sneaked onto Geonosis and discovered a conspiracy of star systems that wanted to secede from the Republic. Now THAT'S freaky, huh? (3.) Ms. Palin used the Christian Nationalist principle of "exceptionalism" in her debate with Sen. Biden and quoted Puritan leader and Christian Nationalist inspiration John Winthrop's "shining city on the hill" metaphor as the model for America in the world; but credited Reagan who, when he used the phrase, properly cited Winthrop. But What is Christian Nationalism?? ------------------------------------------------------- A political ideology that posits a Christian right to rule. Christian nationalists believe in a revisionist history, which holds that the founders of America were devout Christians who never intended to create a secular republic with a separation of church and state. They claim that according to history this separation is a fraud perpetrated by God-hating subversives. One of the foremost Christian revisionist historians is David Barton, who, in addition to running an organization called Wallbuilders that disseminates Christian nationalist books, tracts and videos, is also the vice-chairman of the Texas Republican Party. The goal of Christian nationalist politics is the restoration of the imagined Christian nation. What's this say about Palin?? ------------------------------------------------- That she's got a history of association with anti-American political parties - both the AIP and the Christian Nationalist - and could easily be President if McCain is elected and should have ANY health issue.
