Sorry, wrong.

Fury chose to join the military AND he chose to join Delta.  He
charted the path of his career through is own choices knowing what he
was getting himself into every step of the way.

Do you think a guy who chooses to go to pilot school doesn't know he
might have to associate with aircraft?

Fury associated with who he had to to accomplish a mission.  No
different than a cop that goes undercover with drug dealers.

These are all people who, in the service of their country, associate
with all kinds of nefarious characters to accomplish a higher goal.

If you want to question associations of anyone who serves their
country, fine.  But be consistent.
