American Idol runner up who won an Academy Award for supporting actress in Dreamgirls. I saw her acceptabce speech and liked her for it. Very sweet lady as far as I can tell -- terrible story. I hope the boy is ok and this is not one of those deals where the parent kills the child because life is not good enough for him.
