Ah - so that's an interesting point: "equal treatment".  So this is an
expectations bias on your part.

For example, I don't care about equal treatment since I'm a topics
person and get information on those topics from multiple sources; so I
don't much care if a single source treats a topic equally.

What I do care about is presenting a topical case with missing facts
without noting that you're excluding facts or making up facts.

For example, Fox News asking for a show of hands, seeing none for
McCain, and reporting an equal split.  That's a lie.

What I like is a here's-what-they-said-here-are-the-fact-you-decide
type of reporting.

And all of THAT being said I expect the press as a whole to question
government no matter who's in power.  That's their top job IMO.
