On the bright side, Charlie Crist, Republican Governor of Florida, is
expanding early voting hours in a bunch of places, accommodating
requests from the Obama campaign. It seems to have pissed off several
Republicans as they see it being primarily designed to help low income
and minority voters (people who work multiple jobs, have to use slower
public transportation instead of cars, etc). It seems like he is
genuinely interested in expanding the pool of voters in Florida which
is refreshing after previous vote purging debacles in the state.

Maybe he's just pissed at McCain not picking him for VP, but kudos to
Crist for doing the right thing.
