I'm not sure where you are Beth, but the Potomac Appalachian Trail Committee
has several small cabins along the Maryland and Virginia portion of the
trail that you can reserve. If Bt is a tent wuss, you might want to consider
a trail cabin along some of the trails on the West Coast.
