Well, certainly it doesn't "belong" in a science classroom, even in a
private school...but they certainly have the right to do that, if they'd
rather teach faith than science, and veil the former as the latter. It's
their money.

I don't think it's a far cry from state sponsored religion, for all the
reasons we've already discussed ad nauseum.
