You like the New Deal? The economy at the end of the 1930's was FAR worse than the economy at the beginning of the 1930's. That is what the New Deal did to us. Oh, and it saddled us with Social Security and Medicare, which are going to bankrupt the wealthiest country on the planet, but that's another story.
