I had pretty much the same history.

I hate to be glib, but when pollster asked me today "Why did I vote for
Obama" I answered "I've become an issues voter: I won't for anything,
anywhere that puts Palin closer to the White House."

Also got a call today that bugged me: woman on the phone opened with "I'm a
lifelong Democrat, but I'm voting for John McCain and I'm asking you to do
the same."  I said "So you're saying that you stuck with Dukakis and Mondale
but it was John McCain that seduced you over?"  She hung up on me.

I'll be so happy when this is over and I can get back to JUST crappy
telemarketing calls.
