sorry, G... but it's certainly not all Obama supporters. I can't speak for Scott, but for me, I wouldn't make such a generalization. I know people on this list (or know of people on this list) who voted for Obama who have been very clear in stating why. I've seen one person in particular leap to McCain's defense when things have been said about him that are untrue. I've enjoyed seeing that... but it's definitely not the behavior that I've seen from the majority.
What I've seen is essentially "Obama can do no wrong" (the people that I'm thinking of haven't said a single negative thing about Obama, to the best of my recollection) and "McCain can do no right" (again, the people that I'm thinking of have not been able to say a single positive thing about McCain, to the best of my recollection). This isn't all Obama supporters, and hell it may not even be a majority of Obama supporters. But it's enough of them, speaking loudly enough, that it made an impression on me. Do those people exist on the "other side"? Sure. There are people who, to this day will plead up and down that W. is/was a good president. Those people scare me just as much. But for some reason, during this particular election (and it may very well be that W. was *so* bad that people just wanted anybody who wasn't a Republican), most of what I've personally seen has been very vocal Obama zealots. And yes, that put me off. You aren't one of them. If you were, I'd have no problems saying it.
