Combination of things.

1. Light infantry units do not traditionally have vehicles, armored or
otherwise, we also had not traditionally worn much in the way of body armor.
I didn't have a problem with the initial lack of armor, personnel or
vehicle, and saw very quickly the supply chain jump in to provide what was
needed.

2. The problem I did have was the large scale repurposing of light infantry
units as light armored cavalry and MPs. That was the biggest issue I had
with the initial MTOE, and I think our medium Stryker infantry has grown
into the role nicely.
