Kind of a narrow view. For instances, did you ever notice how the Asian markets influence the US Markets, or how the actions of OPEC affect oil prices. Or how much of your tax dollar is going to foreign aid? Or how an epidemic in Africa can affect health worldwide if not contained. We no longer have the luxury of being isolationists. We live in a global economy and global geo-political society.
Maybe the opinions of the World don't matter to you, but you ignore the economics and politics of the rest of world at your own peril.
