I am saying that if it is done right, than there is no reason that they should not drill. Now, whether it would be done right is another question.
Now on the topic of Enron. I am sure that there were some ties to Enron among the Bush administration, stated or unstated. However I don't think it is a smoking gun. It has been fairly well documented that yes Enron had asked the Bush administration for help and they were denied. Skilling and Lay were lying cheats, and that has nothing to with Bush or any of his administration. If you think there was a problem, back up your info. It's easy to just say ENRON and point a finger at Bush. Just like it would be easy to say Whitewater and point a finger at Clinton. Without evidence to back up your claim it is mere rumors and spin. -----Original Message----- From: Braver, Ben [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 12:17 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: This makes me sick Kevin- do you actually believe what you said in this post? sorry, I find that incredible. The environmental impact report on ANWAR that came in unfavorable to the drilling was ordered to be revised, and months of work were re-done in a week to make the results come out more like the administration wanted. That's totally bogus. "Enron had nothing to do with this Administration" ?!?!? -Ben > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Schmidt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 10:17 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: This makes me sick > > > Enron had nothing to do with this Administration, their lying, cheating > and stealing started well before Bush was President > > ANWAR - I think it is obvious we need to lessen our dependence on > foreign oil. ANWAR is one option. It can be done right and safely. > > Not familiar with what Carlyle is...care to enlighten me. > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Braver, Ben [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 12:07 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: This makes me sick > > Carlyle > Enron > ANWAR drilling > etc. > > Is this government showing > "compassionate conservatism" > or > "covert capitalism" > > ?? > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Kevin Schmidt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 10:06 AM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: This makes me sick > > > > > > http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A34565-2002Apr11.html > > > > > > > > > > > > Kevin Schmidt > > > > Two Rivers Marketing Group > > > > 502 E.
