I see one thing in your paragraph that he did wrong....he didn't divest his stock. However you would think if he knew the company was going to shit he would of bailed just like Skilling and Lay. Don't ya think!
His use of army jets for personal business doesn't involve Enron and it said he made personal call to former Enron colleagues. What you never call people from your previous employer....oh that's right you conveniently left out the paragraph in the article that mentioned he worked for Enron. How spinful of you. -----Original Message----- From: Larry Lyons [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 12:37 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: This makes me sick How many people in the Bush administration had significant ties to Enron, from Cheney on down? How about the secretary of the army Thomas White, he was shilling for army contracts for enron just he was confirmed: >From the Washington Post article: But several missteps have marred his first 10 months in office. They include his failure to notify Congress that he still held stock options and other interests in Enron after he should have divested; his belated disclosure of dozens of phone calls to former Enron colleagues; and his handling of personal business on trips using Army jets, which has prompted an inspector general's investigation. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A63490-2002Apr4.html Nothing to do Enron, yes right. -- Larry C.
