OK. So Cameron's offhand mention of the Body for Life book got me curious. So I read a copy of it. We already eat everything on the food lists in the book, so I was like, ok. What's missing? Well, actually EATING was missing. That and mixing the right amount of proteins with the carbs into realistic portions, and of course, back in the gym for 6 days a week.
The book talks about how humans should be grazers. As in you don't see too many fat horses now do you? Least ones that don't eat fat grains everyday ;) So now we eat 6 times a day. Whether we like it or not. It's easiest if planned ahead of time of course, but actually not too bad to switch to. We do cardio for 20 minutes 3x a week (we both run), weights 3x a week for 45 minutes. Sundays we eat whatever we want, when we want. Which actually isn't too different from what we eat throughout the week anyway. So as of today, only 11 days in, and we've both lost 13 pounds each (weird). Pretty cool! :D I really like the routine. I like routines. I must be a little OCD... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:280284 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
