I've been reading a bunch of the Ender's Game series and while the first ones were definitely the best, I've been slugging through the later ones just to find out what happened to the characters.
Recently, there's been a flurry articles about the author, Orson Scott Card. This guy is a wild homophobe. This ass has said he'll work to destroy any government that grants rights to gay people until a government replaces it with on that will respect his rights blah blah blah....and he's written more essays about it than that. Just do a google search on the author...you'll be amazed at how much vitriol this guy has. I've read books by authors that I didn't agree with, but this guy is so very very far out there, I just don't think I'd be able to enjoy the books anymore.
