I apologize for the bit about the donkey, though I truly wasn't directly comparing homosexuality to bestiality. Perhaps I should've chosen "breakfast cereal" instead of donkey and could have still made the same point. Speaking of advancement, I would say that we've advanced as far as we can in this discussion. Who knows how public opinion will advance. I'm sure there is some compromise that would make us all happy. I truly cannot empathize with you, since the love I have for my wife has never been called into question and I've never had to defend it as right.
