Your point is moot though. We are here, have been here a while, and will be
here for a little while more. Talking about the why's and how's we are here
is as pointless as reparations for far off decendants of slavery. What's
done is done. Move forward.

Speaking of Africa, does anyone on this list (other than Loathe who I am
sure is aware of this) know that we have been waging a quasi-secret war in
Somalia for quite a while now, part of the GWOT? Somalia gots AQ insurgents
too. And we have been pumping millions into that effort as well.
