Yeah, I braved the lines at our local WM as well - normally we're down
south close to a Super and since they're open 24/7, people are
standing by what they want when the plastic wrap comes off.  Today,
the line was allowed in at 5... it was almost a mad rush!

There were police outside but they needed traffic directors inside,
and someone to coordinate the checkout lines.

My guess - most discount stores are going to show good profit today!
