My wife was at a Kolh's. She was in a line of about 50 people and another
line next to her formed. The security guard came and told those in the first
line to get behind the second line (new line).

Well... those 50 in line were not very happy about it and they refused to
move. The security went to the front of the line and asked the couple to
move to the back of the "second line (the new line)." They refused and the
security guard went to grab the arm of the female. The male, probably the
husband, did not take keen to that, grabbed the security officer and tossed
him to the ground.

Police showed up about 5 minutes later. Nobody was arrested and the two line
reminded. When the doors opened, it was a bison stampede.

Yeah, I braved the lines at our local WM as well - normally we're down
south close to a Super and since they're open 24/7, people are
standing by what they want when the plastic wrap comes off. Today,
the line was allowed in at 5... it was almost a mad rush!

There were police outside but they needed traffic directors inside,
and someone to coordinate the checkout lines.

My guess - most discount stores are going to show good profit today!
