I have worked with forces from all of those countries in my time in the
military.

We did an airborne exchange with one of the parachute regiments when I was
in the 82nd. Excellent troops I have heard the same said from those that
fought next to them in Iraq.

I worked closely with the kiwis (NZ) in the Sinai. Their boat and boarding
teams, instructors and personnel were awesome, best bar on south camp too.

The Canadian Forces. I grew up around the CF, was an Army cadet at one point
while my father was working up there. They have done some incredibly heavy
lifting in Afghanistan, in Eastern Europe, in Cyprus and other little known
hot spots around the world.

I got to know some Aussies on an MWR camp in Qatar on a four day pass,
buying peoples drink tickets to get more than the allowed three drink
maximum. Good times.

Some people whose governments I don't necessarily like, but who have done
and continue to do incredible work, Germany and France. Both have very
professional militaries that have done very well in some tough situations.
I jumped into JRTC with some Germans in 99. Great troops, some neat toys
too.

The country I feel doing the most unsung work right now is the Republic of
Ireland. Few people realize that they have peacekeeping forces in Africa
right now. They have been in Lebanon. They constantly put up forces for
international peace and humanitarian missions far in excess of their size or
responsibility.
